Karolina (Magdalena Berus) – like many of today’s 20-year-old, 30-year-old – lives fast, intensely, wants to experience everything with double strength. Unlike most of her peers, she does not work in corporations – she is an artist, some time ago she published her first novel, the modern version of “Lolita”, which has become an international success. She leads a nihilist lifestyle, spending time traveling around the world, romances and sharp parties. But her life is filled with emptiness, which can not be overcome by drugs or sex. Her life is gradually falling apart living in the shadow of not surviving mother Karoliny (Danuta Stenka) and attractive sister Mathilda (Hanna Koczewska).
